The Matrix British Championships may only be in its second year but it’s already one of the big competitions on the angling calendar and a title many would like to add to their C.V. But who would be crowned 2019 Champion at a rain soaked Barston Lakes…

The Matrix British Feeder Championships was born in 2018 and was revolutionary on the match scene as all costs, pegging and prize money were sponsored by Matrix, making it completely free for the anglers to enter. It wasn’t without controversy though as the match divided opinions, as 50 of the 60 participants were invited to fish from the countries elite feeder anglers.  The following 10 places, “Golden Tickets”, were drawn from a ballot. This kick started the event in style as a star studied line up graced the banks of Barston Lakes to see Des Shipp crowned the first ever Matrix British Feeder Champion.
